Operating a mechanical contracting business in these economic times is not an easy task. Why not remove some of the burden where you can? Outsourcing some or all of your detailing needs is a wise and money saving solution.
We provide high quality AutoCAD HVAC Shop/Coordination drawings created by experienced sheet metal workers, who not only have many years of experience in detailing, but also in installing, fabricating, servicing and project managing a multitude of HVAC projects.
One of the best ways to make a job run efficiently from start to finish is with a detailed shop drawing.
- Help everyone from the project manager to the field installers by letting them see a detailed drawing of your project being installed, from every fitting to every joint of duct.
- Make accurate material take-offs minimizing your fabrication and installation costs.
- Cut down on expensive fabrication of fittings that do not end up being installed and costing money not only in fabricating, but also in transporting, handling and storing.
- Advance coordination with other trades eliminates field installers showing up on a jobsite and fighting for space to install ductwork and equipment. Early coordination with duct elevations and locations leads to higher profit margins by not wasting time and money trying to coordinate duct layout and elevations after the job is already started.
- Give yourself excellent documentation for project meetings and change order claims.
- Have the As-Built drawings or AutoCAD file documents needed for closeout when your project is completed.
Based on our 26 years in the HVAC industry, we know how important these drawings are to running an efficient project, starting with the submittal drawings and ending with the project closeout documents. Our company experience will help make your next project more profitable and better managed!
BIM Services:
3d coordination (BIM) drawings are becoming the new coordination standard for the HVAC industry.
Building Information Modeling (BIM) or 3D modeling is the creation of parametric, or intelligent, 3D models instead of 2D perspective ‘un-intelligent’ drawings. A BIM operates on a digital database and any change made to this database is reflected throughout the entire drawing not just inside one page of a drawing. BIM drawings can be imported into Navisworks for collision detection with not only other trades but also the building itself.
